Somma Aire 3 Star 
The Somma Aire 3 Star adjustable air bed mattress is a 10 inch thick knife edge pillowtop air mattress sewn with Aterra, a premium Damask poly/rayon blend material in a natural Ecru color. Quilted with a 4 inch tack and jump diamond pattern, the pillowtop is sewn with a one ounce layer of Angel Hair and two half inch layers of foam. The cover is backed with Laminet, a non-stretch material that will reduce distress to the cover while increasing the life of the cover. Within the pillow top is a 1 inch layer of Visco Elastic Memory Foam and beneath the cover is a layer of 1 1/4 inch finger foam. Beneath the finger foam are the dual air chambers with Somma's patented InnerCoil technology that provides proper lumbar support no matter how firm or soft the air chambers are adjusted.
Somma Aire's 3 Star adjustable air bed mattress uses Somma's patented "Perfect Fit" contoured foam rails (except Cal King) which relieve stress on the side panel and keep the sides of the Somma Aire 3 Star air bed mattress straight and true. The 3 Star also includes a foam divider between the two air chambers to help keep each sleeper's firmness adjustments to themselves.
The Somma Aire 3 Star adjustable air bed mattress comes standard with Somma's exclusive "Quiet Pump", a linear, solid state pump rated at 15,000 hours of continuous use. This very high quality pump allows the user to change air firmness levels more quietly than any other pump on the market, actually below average ambient bedroom noise levels. Dual hand-held controls permit easy adjustments of firmness levels by either sleeping partner. A sleeper may select any firmness level by simply pressing the "Firm" or the "Soft" button.
The Somma Aire 3 Star adjustable air bed mattress features a perimeter zipper closure which allows the top to be removed for easy cleaning, adding years of customer satisfaction. The standard 8 inch Land and Sky quality foundation with matching fabric may be used with this airbed. . <br><br><b>Foam Rail System</b>:Each Somma Airbed comes with the PATENTED \'Perfect Fit\' contoured foam rail system. All of the rails are contoured to allow the air chambers to fit snugly into the sides of the rails, allowing the strength of the air chambers to work in conjunction with the rail system to form a rectangle with perfectly straight sides. No matter what level of firmness you choose, the sides of the rectangle will remain straight and true. The Somma Aire won\'t bulge and sag like many traditional air mattresses. Because the Somma rail system is so strong, Somma can use a 1.6 density foam in the rails. This minimizes the effect the foam rails might have on a comfortable night\'s sleep.<br><br><b>Inner Coil Technology</b>:The Somma Aire patented inner coil technology provides reactive support for the heavier mid-body at a reduced air pressure, allowing the sleeper\'s body to remain correctly aligned for good sleep posture. Most other airbeds use an old and ineffective free-flow air technology that can lead to a hammocking effect in the mid body region when adjusted at a softer level. This will cause strain on the lower back and spine. To try and correct this, the sleeper will try to add support by adding air to the air chamber, but this will only lead to a mattress that is too hard, creating a tent-effect where the body is arched upward, which restricts blood and air flow leading to an uncomfortable night\'s sleep. Somma\'s patented inner coil technology allows the sleeper to adjust the firmness level either hard or soft without compromising proper sleep alignment. Since the sleeper is able to rest without hammocking or tenting, morning grogginess and soreness caused by unnecessary muscle contractions when sleeping is prevented.
