Air Bed Sleep and the CC 9500: The Indy 9500 is an animal all it's own. The Indy 9500 air bed features a reversible (winter/summer) duvet flip top that is an incredible 8 inches thick. Both sides of the reversible duvet include impression resistant Quiltflex™. One side of the duvet is quilted with Cool Plus™ temperature regulating material. Beneath the Cool Plus cover is a layer of pressure relieving memory foam. Enjoy all the benefits of this amazing Nasa designed material with the cooling benefits of temperature regulating Cool Plus™. The other side of the flippable duvet cover consists of a plush latex comfort layer covered in natural bamboo knit fabric. Bamboo?? Yes, Bamboo! On their way to becoming the textile product of the 21st century, bamboo fibers are the newest, old thing around. They offer a number of advantages over other, more "traditional" fibers. Bamboo fibers have natural anti-bacterial properties. Scientists have discovered the reason Bamboo is seldom eaten by pests or infected by a pathogen is because bamboo contains a unique anti-bacterial and bacteriostasis bio-agent named "bamboo kun". This substance, combined with bamboo's tight cellulose molecular structure, helps keep bacteria at bay. Tests show a 70% mortality rate for bacteria incubated on bamboo fiber fabric. Bamboo fiber's natural anti-bacterial function differs greatly from that of chemical antimicrobials. The latter often tend to cause skin allergies when added to apparel or bedding, but because bamboo's anti-bacterial properties are natural this has not been as prevalent with bamboo textiles. Bamboo fibers are green & biodegradable. As a regenerated cellulose fiber, bamboo produces natural and eco-friendly fiber without any chemical additives. Bamboo fiber is a biodegradable textile material. As a natural cellulose fiber, it can be 100% biodegraded into the soil by microorganisms and sunlight. The decomposition process doesn't cause any pollution to the environment. As the natural, green, and eco-friendly textile material of the 21st century, bamboo fiber comes from nature and completely returns to nature in the end. Bamboo fibers are breathable and cool. Because the cross-section of the bamboo fiber is filled with various micro-gaps and micro-holes, it has much better moisture absorption and ventilation than many other fibers. Additionally, Bamboo fibers have a high capacity against abrasive action, meaning they are extremely durable.
