Comfort Lock Our Patented Comfort Lock®System. - Our Patented Comfort Lock®System. No shift design keeps the fluffy down on top for easy care. A patented three-sided border locks down in place over the sleeper, thereby eliminating excess down shifting to the edges or bottom. Our comforters are lighter and fluffier than other comforters because the down is used more efficiently. Comfort Lock® Comforters are Lighter and Easier to Maintain. The patented three-sided border locks more down in place in the "sleep zone" area over the bed. So Comfort Lock comforters can be 30% lighter and do not require overfilling to compensate for the wasted down on the sides of the bed. They are lighter, more breathable and more comfortable in a wider range of temperatures. They are also easier to maintain, as they don't need to be redistributed as much as other comforters. Open design comforters, like ringstitch or karo-tacks, allow much of the fill to shift and settle on the sides and at the bottom of the bed. | ||||||

Pacific Coast Down & Feather At Pacific Coast Feather Company we produce down for superior lightness, warmth and durability. We use two primary measures to test and create this quality of down. First, we create the cleanest down available through our Hyperclean process and firmly stand by our Allergy Free guarantee (see Hyperclean and Allergy Free). Next we measure the quality of down by testing the fill power or how lofty or "fluffy" the down is. Fill power measures fluffiness or how many cubic inches of space one ounce of down occupies (see Fill Power and Fluffy for Life).An ounce of Pacific Coast’s high fill power and Hyperclean down is fluffier, more durable and insulates better than ordinary down. Pacific Coast’s 550 fill power white goose down is up to 25% fluffier after use than much of the ordinary down you’ll find elsewhere. Our higher fill power down, 600 800 is up to 35% fluffier after use than many other comforters making similar fi ll power claims. Our better quality, higher fill power down is easily worth the additional investment because it is both fluffier and lighterand it will stay fluffy for years to come | ||||||
