Latex-100% Latex

In an effort to relieve astronauts of the incredible g-forces experienced during lift-off, scientists at NASA's Ames Research Center created 100% Latex in the early 1970's. 100% Latex is rated in densities with the higher number being the most foam rich. The greater the foam to air ratio, the more supportive the memory foam will be. Density ratings such as 3lb, 4lb, and 5lb are examples of industry standard ratings. Memory foam bed rated as 4lbs. in density means that one square foot of foam weighs 4 pounds.
